Taking positive global cues, the Indian frontline indices ended with strong gains on Tuesday. Buying action was seen across sectors with heavyweight sectors like BFSI, auto, IT and FMCG firing on all cylinders. The BSE Sensex surged by 1089.18 points or 1.49% to 74,227.08, while the Nifty gained 374.25 points or 1.69% to end the day at 22,535.85.Commenting on the day's action, Vatsal Bhuva, Technical Analyst at LKP Securities said that a mild rebound has followed on Tuesday after the Nifty slipped below its 20-day EMA, though finding a strong support near 21,800 and forming a bullish belt hold candlestick. "A mild rebound followed on Tuesday, supported by a positive RSI divergence, suggesting a possible move toward the 22,950–23,000 zone, where the 20-day EMA lies. A breakout above 23,200 (20-week EMA) could confirm a bullish trend, while a close below 21,800 may signal further weakness.
