    • Narendra Modi was eight when he first joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and later, during the early 1970s, became an official promoter of the organisation when he opened a student wing of RSS — the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad — in his area

    • Union Minister Piyush Goyal has criticised the Congress party regarding the 2008 Mumbai attacks. He mentioned the extradition of Tahawwur Rana. Goyal accused the previous government of leniency towards terrorists like Ajmal Kasab. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for pursuing justice.
