Akshay Kumar humorously expressed his frustration at the premiere of the film 'Go Noni Go', directed by Sonal Dabral and produced by his wife,
Twinkle Khanna. The event was notable with the presence of Twinkle, Akshay, and her mother,
Dimple Kapadia, who stars in the film.
During a Q&A session, Akshay revealed that Twinkle's eagerness for feedback made it difficult for him to watch the film uninterrupted. “Hello, it’s my wife’s film. My question is to the producer, ‘When is the next show?’ Because I couldn’t watch the film properly because my wife was sitting next to me and she was… baar baar koni maar maar ke kaisi lag rahi hai film? Kaisi lag rahi hai film? Toh main dekh nahi paya hun toh agla show kab hai? Mujhe puri film dekhni hai,” he said, referring to how Twinkle repeatedly elbowed him for his opinion during the screening. The audience found humor in his predicament, prompting laughter throughout the venue.
As Akshay continued to joke about his experience, he added, “Puch lijiye. Vahin hai meri biwi. Ki kitni koniyan maari hain ki kaisi hai meri film?” This playful comment highlighted not only his affection for Twinkle but also the lighthearted dynamics of their relationship.
'Go Noni Go' is adapted from Twinkle Khanna's story 'Salaam Noni Aapa' and features a talented cast including
Manav Kaul and
Rohan Mehra. The film explores themes of family and relationships, with Dimple Kapadia playing a pivotal role.
Twinkle Khanna has been known for her work as an author and producer, often blending her creative talents with personal experiences. Her transition from acting to producing has been well-received, with 'Go Noni Go' being her latest venture.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar will next be seen in
