Actress Triptii Dimri refuted the rumors that she had been paid to attend an event in Jaipur and had failed to appear. The controversy erupted after event organizers in Jaipur accused the actress of charging for her attendance but not showing up, sparking outrage among attendees. A viral video from the event showed individuals defacing Triptii's poster and calling for a boycott of the actress.

According to reports from Hindustan Times, they confirmed that Triptii had been in the city for some time to promote 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' alongside her co-star Rajkummar Rao. She actually attended all the events scheduled in this regard and had nothing to do with the myriad other personal appearances outside of those connected to her film.
During the promotional campaign currently in place, Triptii Dimri strictly honored her professional obligation by attending every scheduled event and session set for the film, the statement said. The report also mentioned that Triptii did not meet the demands to attend any other events whatsoever; she did not accept any form of additional payment for personal appearances. "No additional fees or payments were accepted for her involvement in these activities," the statement added, dismissive of the claims by the event organizers.
The viral video of the incident showed individuals tearing down posters of the film in protest.
Meanwhile, Tripti and Rajkummar Rao took to the streets for their promotional tour of Jaipur in the evening when they flew out of the city on Tuesday. 'Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' is all set to release on October 11.
