Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Mokksha starrer Malayalam film ‘Kallanum Bhagavathiyum’ is all set to return with a sequel. The film directed by
East Coast Vijayan received an overwhelming response during its OTT release, which has prompted the team to make a sequel. The upcoming film is titled ‘Chanthattam’.
Vishnu and Mokksha will be reprising their respective roles in the upcoming film. The team announced the film on Friday.
In a note shared on Instagram, Moksha said, “For Chithini's and for the hunger stricken doctors and protestors special prayer we visited Chottanikara devi temple on 9th October, Amidst so many films including big banners and Superstars , we stepped into the 3rd week of @chithinimovie, my second Malayalam film."

She added, "It was the day of my new Malayalam film Pooja which got postponed due to some health issues and new news of Chanthattam, @kallanumbhagavathiyum sequel took place. Maybe some things are not in our hands, it's destined. @eastcoastvijayan more power to you for continuing your passion back to back this way and fighting despite so many hidden politics, clashes even though it had happened with me but it never reflected in our work or integrity of the ventures. ‘Kallanum Bhagavathiyum’ also had actors Anusree, Johnny Antony, Rajesh Madhavan, Altaf, Srikanth Murali, Mala Parvathy, and Cherthala Jayan, in some of the important roles in the film. The film released in March 2023, is currently streaming on Prime Video.
