Following its special premiere on December 4 and the overwhelming response from the premiere, 'Pushpa 2' opened with a thunderous response and the sequel gets a grand start in Tamil Nadu as well. According to netizens, the interval block peaked the film, while Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil scored well with commercial and humor representation. Director Sukumar struck well with his screenplay as the 3 hours 20 minutes film was completely engaging with powerful dialogues and pulsating background score. Tamil composer Sam CS earned special appreciation from fans as he explored his skills through 'Pushpa 2'. 'Pushpa 2' has been dubbed perfectly in Tamil as the Telugu film turned out to be a pleasing one. Jathara scene is the major highlight of the film with National Award-winning Allu Arjun proving his capability. Rashmika Mandanna didn't fail to put her name on the scoreboard as she was given the right space to impress the audience through her role.
