Rashmika Mandanna reveals she gets super conscious while speaking in Hindi

Rashmika Mandanna, a notable actress from South Indian cinema, is entering Bollywood with upcoming films like Animal and Sikandar. Despite her Kannada background, she has worked hard on her Hindi speaking skills but remains self-conscious. Salman Khan believes she may not master Hindi fully due to English-speaking staff in Mumbai.

Rashmika Mandanna is one of the finest talents of Indian cinema, having dominated the industries down south- the actress is slowly and steadily making inroads in Hindi films with films like Animal, Chhava and soon to release Sikandar with Salman Khan and Thama with Ayushmann Khurrana.

Being born and brought up in Karnataka it is not easy to be well versed with spoken Hindi and Rashmika has no qualms in accepting that, but over the years the actress has worked on it. In fact the actress in her latest interview with CNN-News 18 shared that still gets super conscious when he has to speak the languages. She stated that it is easy to pick up a language when you live in a city and have people around you speaking it. She grew up in Karnataka so her languages were limited to Kannada and English. As she moved to Hyderabad for her movie career- with everyone on her staff from her assistants to the bodygrauds etc would communicate in Telugu, so she had to pick up the language to converse with them.
She also added that she comes to Mumbai only for work and if she's given her lines in Hindi, she can perfectly speak them. But in the back of the mind she’s superconscious about it as she fears she would make a mistake but when she isn't even making one.
Rashmika also shared if he chooses to stay in Mumbai she would be able to master the Hindi languages very easily. But Salman has a different thought- in the same interview he stated that even if she moves to Mumbai, she won’t be able to master the language as everyone around her would be only speaking in English.
Rashmika has a slate of films lined up across languages from Kubera to The Girlfriend to Animal Park and Pushpa 3. In fact she has also become the only actress to have three films in Rs 500 crore club - Animal, Pushpa 2-The Rule and Chhaava.
