President Donald Trump fired multiple administration officials, including at least three senior National Security Council officials, after meeting the far-right activist Laura Loomer. The conservative activist met Trump at the Oval Office on Wednesday, during which she reportedly raised concerns about staff loyalty. Trump has, however, downplayed Loomer's influence over the recent firings. “Laura Loomer is a very good patriot and a strong person. I saw her yesterday for a little while. She makes recommendations of things and people, and sometimes I listen to those recommendations, like I do with everybody,” Trump said.
Though Laura Loomer didn’t divulge any details of her meeting, in a post shared on X, she said, “It was an honor to meet with President Trump and present him with my research findings. I will continue working hard to support his agenda, and I will continue reiterating the importance of, and the necessity of STRONG VETTING, for the sake of protecting the President of the United States of America, and our national security.”

Laura Loomer, 31, is a far-right activist, political commentator, and staunch supporter of former President Donald Trump. She has been a vocal figure in conservative circles and has an incendiary social media presence. She grabbed eyeballs when she ran as a Republican candidate for the US House of Representatives in Florida in 2020. However, she lost to Democrat Lois Frankel.
Laura Loomer also made headlines when she handcuffed herself to the entrance of Twitter's New York City headquarters after the company kicked her off the platform. She was banned for 'hateful conduct' after she made anti-Muslim remarks about Minnesota Rep.-elect Ilhan Omar. She tweeted that Omar, one of first two Muslim women elected to Congress, was 'anti Jewish', and that her religion pushed homophobia and abuse of women.

Controversy follows Laura Loomer wherever she goes. She was also banned from numerous social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram for making offensive comments about Muslim drivers. In a post in 2018, Loomer said, "someone needs to create a non Islamic form of Uber or Lyft because I never want to support another Islamic immigrant driver." Loomer has once described herself as a 'proud Islamophobe', however, later she told CNN that she is not 'anti-Muslim'. Laura Loomer has also faced criticism for entertaining 9/11 conspiracy theories. She has previously shared a video on X that said “9/11 was an Inside Job!”

Last year, Laura Loomer received criticism for her racist comments against then VP Kamala Harris. In a post shared on X, she said, "If @KamalaHarris wins, the White House will smell like curry & White House speeches will be facilitated via a call center and the American people will only be able to convey their feedback through a customer satisfaction survey at the end of the call that nobody will understand." Kamala Harris was the first Black woman and person of South Asian descent to serve as vice president.

Despite the harsh criticism, Trump refused to condemn the comments made by her. “I don’t control Laura. Laura, she’s a free spirit. Well, I don’t know. I mean, look, I can’t tell Laura what to do," Trump said.

“She is a strong person, she’s got strong opinions, and I don’t know what she said, but that’s not up to me,” he added.
Meanwhile, Laura Loomer also has a podcast called ‘Loomer Unleashed’ on Rumble.
On the other hand, the past few weeks Laura Loomer also made headlines apropos conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair’s relationship with Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk. She recently called St. Clair a 'gold digger' after the footage of the latter selling her Tesla car emerged. Ashley St. Clair, 26, who alleged tech billionaire Elon Musk fathered her baby, stated that she was selling the care to 'make up for the 60% cut' Elon made on her son's child support. Laura Loomer took to her X account and wrote, "Gold digger and professional gaslighter @stclairashley was caught on camera outside of her ritzy Manhattan condo (paid for by her sugar daddy Elon Musk) selling her $100,000 @Tesla she said was gifted to her by @elonmusk during their romantic relationship. She said she’s selling it to make up for $100,000 in alleged cuts to her child support payments from Elon. She took a jab at @elonmusk, telling people to check the Tesla Stock, adding, “I’m not the only one cleaning up after Elon’s messes.” Ashley, as I reported, has hired anti-Trump lawyers to sue Elon Musk. He was ordered by the court to take a paternity test.” Following Loomer's post, Elon Musk said that he has given $2.5 million to Ashley St. Clair. “I don’t know if the child is mine or not, but am not against finding out. No court order is needed. Despite not knowing for sure, I have given Ashley $2.5M and am sending her $500k/year,” Musk wrote on X.
