Dana White drops major hints on Alex Pereira’s next potential UFC showdown
As White recently kicked off a new boxing promotion in alliance with Saudi Arabia, he participated in numerous interviews. Amid the launch of the new boxing league, White took a firm stand on not planning a crossover fight since the UFC President did not approve of the rationality behind it; however, he hinted towards a possible upcoming showdown of one of the finest UFC fighters, Pereira. Before discussing Pereira, White addressed the elephant in the room and discussed the highly anticipated face-off between Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall.
White gave his much-awaited take on his current priorities concerning the most esteemed fighters in the UFC league. In a conversation with
Jim Rome, White talked about the future showdown for UFC megastar Jon Jones for his MMA return during the summer of this year. White stated, “Yeah, the plan is to fight Jon this summer; obviously, when, where, and all that stuff is being determined. The fight that everybody wants to see right now is Jones and Aspinall.”
Later in the discussion about Jones and Aspinall’s anticipated fight, Pereira entered. White emphasized the upcoming bout between Pereira and Ankalaev, which has massive hype built around it at the moment. If Pereira bags the win against Ankalaev, another major fight awaits him.
