Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship could be tested because of a decision taken by the Kansas City Chiefs

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have hung out with each other’s families and stayed with each other despite the hate they have received over the years. At this point, the two stars are in a pretty happy phase in their relationship but it seems like the two might face some trouble later in the year. Recently, The Athletic reported that the Kansas City Chiefs has requested to play on Christmas Day again and it seems like a big problem for the couple.


As per The Athletic, “the Chiefs have requested that the NFL make them a fixture on Christmas Day” but this means trouble for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
Even fans are not in favor of this idea. A fan posted on X, “Not even Chiefs fans were asking for this”, while another fan wrote, “Really? Wow. What a joke.”
A third fan posted, “Hate the idea. Only shown on one streaming service and no sports bars open on Christmas. Have to get the streaming service to see it.”
Last year as the Kansas City Chiefs played against the Pittsburgh Steelers, some of the players did complain about not being able to spend the holiday with their families.
For Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, Christmas Day 2024 was a day spent away from each other. While Taylor Swift was spotted at the Chiefs’ Christmas Day game in 2023, she missed out on it in 2024 because the match was held in Pittsburgh.

According to Page Six, Taylor Swift would not be spotted in a venue that her security team has not studied properly. For Taylor Swift, the only venue she has constantly been spotted at is the Arrowhead Stadium, Chiefs’ home stadium.
While it is not known yet who the Kansas City Chiefs will play against in this year if their request is approved for Christmas Day, there are high chances that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce might have to spend the holiday away from each other.

Currently, the two are spending quality time together. As per Page Six, a source added,“This is such a nice escape for them to finally be able to stay out of the limelight for a bit before they eventually have to get out in the public eye again due to their careers.”
The source added, “They like to cuddle on the couch and watch movies, play board games, spend time with family, cook dinner together and just hang out….They really cherish this time while they can because they know it can’t last forever.”
Taylor Swift is yet to announce her new project while there are many unconfirmed speculations around Travis Kelce’s retirement.
