Samsung will reportedly start releasing its One UI 7 update, based on Android 15, from mid-April. A leaked schedule shows which devices will get it first, with the rollout continuing until the end of May. As per the leakster BuligaDavidCri1, latest flagship phones will be updated first, followed by older phones.
Samsung’s top phones will likely get the update starting April 18. The Galaxy S24 series (S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, and S24 FE) will also be among the first to receive One UI 7. Samsung’s latest foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6, are also said to get the update on the same day.
The update will reach the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Flip5, Z Fold5, and Galaxy A54 a week later, on April 25, the leak says. More devices, including the Galaxy S23 FE, S22 series, Z Fold4, Z Flip4, A34, A33, and A53, will get it on May 16. Finally, on May 23, the Galaxy S21 series, Z Flip3, and Z Fold3 will receive the update.
Reports also suggest that Samsung has already started testing the One UI 7 beta for its foldable phones. Samsung, as per rumours, has also created forum pages for these devices in its One UI beta program, a sign that the beta launch is near.
Samsung One UI 7: What to expect
With One UI 7, Samsung promises big improvements, especially for foldable phones. Users can expect better multitasking and easier navigation. However, some worry that the update might take too long, arriving just before Android 16 launches, which could lessen its impact.
Soon after the leaks, Samsung moderators reportedly responded to beta testers, dismissing the speculation. One moderator stated, “Samsung has not officially announced a release schedule for the stable One UI 7 update. While leaks may circulate online, we recommend checking official Samsung channels for accurate information.”
