Satya Nadella has praised China-based AI company DeepSeek as a new benchmark for the Redmond giant's artificial intelligence efforts, also accrediting the Chinese company efforts of focused innovation during a recent employee town hall meeting.
According to The Verge,
Nadella was particularly impressed by DeepSeek's ability to optimize AI computing architecture and achieve significant results with a small team. "What's most impressive about DeepSeek is that it's a great reminder of what 200 people can do when they come together with one thought and one play," Nadella told Microsoft employees.
