Karan Patel reveals why he doesn't want to do Bigg Boss; says 'It used to be a celebrity based show, now they call people from different walks of life'
Television star Karan Patel recently opened up about why fans shouldn’t expect to see him in the Bigg Boss house anytime soon. During a candid chat on Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s podcast, Karan shared his honest thoughts about the controversial reality show hosted by Salman Khan.
He made it clear that Bigg Boss just isn’t his cup of tea. Karan admitted that he has a short temper and knows himself well enough to realize that the show’s intense environment wouldn't suit him. With a smile, he said he’d rather stay away than land in unnecessary drama, a refreshing bit of honesty in an industry that’s full of surprises.
He said, "Bigg Boss is not meant for someone like me. It’s not just the contestants who suffer inside the house; even their families and loved ones outside go through a lot. Staying locked in for three months is not easy." He further shared the example of Hiten Tejwani in the house, "You will never see me as a contestant on Bigg Boss. I may appear as a guest, but that’s about it. Even strong and composed people like Hiten Tejwani lost their cool on the show. Salman Khan told him that he was too nice for the show and Bigg Boss was not meant for him."
Karan further shared how earlier the show was majorly celebrity based and that is how the viewership was amazing as people were interested in seeing the stars, "Earlier, it was a celebrity-based show, and that was interesting.
Now, they are bringing in people from all walks of life. I don’t want to see my local vegetable vendor or ande wala in the Bigg Boss house. I want to see Bharti, Haarsh and know what they do inside the house."

Haarsh and Karan then discussed how, due to the mixed batch, the fights have been taking uglier turns. He said, "Kamai hui izzat gawa denge ek hi din mein, Aurton se badtameezi, bardasht nahi hoti. And we all know that it is impossible to not see this in Bigg Boss. So I can't do it."
