As much as I enjoyed the book, one thing occurred to me. Does anyone else find it strange that there are beautifully detailed character studies of everyone even tangentially related to the team and town, but no description of any of Beartown's goalies? I suppose that he could be featured in the next installment, but given a goalie's impact (and the personality quirks that go with it), it's quite an omission.

Love this author but I'm 30% into it but it doesn't seem to be getting to the plot line, but rather is going back and forth with the many characters interactions. Please tell me "something is going to happen"?
