the trial for Kohberg is still in motion (June 2025), this book is obviously more than just *inspired* by that tragic incident, she's used exact details from it. Horrendous.

glad you reviewed and rated this honestly ! had no idea this author used REAL details. extremely disrespectful no matter what ANYONE might say…
Another friend posted this and the story just sounded so familiar..I was very freaking appalled & it literally enraged me. I get things inspire us even if it's so tragic & heavy, but she could have changed it up quite a bit more than she didn't and those kids, those families, don't deserve it.Unless she's putting ALL the proceeds towards legal fees & the families, which I doubt - just seems like she's trying to bank off this
