"Love how the great authors do seamless flashbacks several times mid-story. Being able to set the scene with history from a character's past which needs to Also be told,... makes for mental entertainment for the reader who also loves to bank memories of a book's characters like memories they make of their own life (or recalling them like memory)." Jack Kerouac
“One day I will find the right words, and they will be simple.”
Jack Kerouac, The Dharma Bums

Rudyard Kipling
“The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. To be your own man is hard business. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.”
Rudyard Kipling

Karl Popper
“The history of science, like the history of all human ideas, is a history of irresponsible dreams, of obstinacy, and of error. But science is one of the very few human activities — perhaps the only one — in which errors are systematically criticized and fairly often, in time, corrected. This is why we can say that, in science, we often learn from our mistakes, and why we can speak clearly and sensibly about making progress there.”
Karl R. Popper, Conjectures and Refutations: The Growth of Scientific Knowledge

Albert Einstein
“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”
Albert Einstein

Calvin Coolidge
“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On!' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”
Calvin Coolidge
