Claire Sweeney is reportedly putting her £2.3million up for sale for double the price she paid for it.
The 52-year-old Brookside actress has been hitting headlines in recent weeks after Claire and Ricky Hatton surprised fans when they went public with their romance over the weekend, with their friends revealing the reason the duo are the perfect match.
And now, it has been claimed that she is selling the pad after almost two decades. She initially bought her home in London for £1.15 million in 2006. Her home has four bedrooms, and four storeys and even has permission to develop a roof-top garden.
Claire, who has one child, previously shared little sneak peeks of her home with fans on Instagram. In many selfies and posts, her living room and bedroom could be seen. Pictures showed her personal style as she decorated her dining room room with quilted chairs. There was also a framed print on the wall to complete the space.
She also has a gorgeous bedroom with matching lamps and a vintage headboard, as reported by The Sun.
The soap actress and the boxing star, 45, formed a connection when they competed in the recent series of Dancing On Ice. They were seen leaving a pub in Manchester last week and even had staff at a pub in Stockport starstruck thanks to nipping in for a drink the night before.
He is thought to be completely 'besotted' with Claire, with sources telling the Mirror that it was the latest string of dates that the couple have been on since March. One source said the lovebirds had "electric" chemistry when they met in rehearsals for Dancing on Ice. They said: "The chemistry was electric [when they met].
Ricky went out of the show early on but he contacted her afterwards and let's say he started wooing her." The source claimed: "They've been out on several dates. Saturday was just one in a long line of them. They've been seeing each other quite a bit. He is completely besotted."
Claire's pals even branded Ricky as "one of the funniest people" she's ever met. A source told Daily Mail: "Things have become serious quite quickly and they are just really enjoying each other's company and seeing how things develop from here. They are also discussing possibly going on holiday together to Tenerife in the summer which will see their relationship go to the next level," they added.
"They think it could be just the right moment for them both and everyone just wants them to be happy." Mirror Online contacted Claire's representatives for comment.
