Vikrant Massey To Play Sri Sri Ravi Shankar In Siddharth Anand's Global Thriller White

Vikrant Massey will be playing the lead role in renowned spiritual leader and humanitarian, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s biopic. Ad filmmaker Montoo Bassiis is directing the film, co-produced by Peacecraft Pictures, along with Siddharth Anand’s Marflix Pictures and Mahaveer Jain Films.

The international production is titled White. An edge-of-the-seat global thriller, the makers are looking forward to wrapping the production preparations in Colombia, before taking it on floors this July. The film brings together a distinguished international crew to depict the powerful and inspiring story of how Colombia’s brutal 52-year-long civil war was resolved — a largely untold chapter of modern peace-building.

In 2024, speculation around Vikrant’s casting for White began when the actor met the spiritual guru and was seen sporting significantly longer hair while undergoing physical transformations. According to early reports, White will be made in English and Spanish for a global audience.

Vikrant, who gained critical acclaim for his performances in films like 12th Fail and The Sabarmati Report, has to undergo remarkable transformations for White. Apart from this, the actor has Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan with Shanaya Kapoor.

Siddharth Anand, one of the producers of White, is marking his OTT debut with Netflix’s heist film, Jewel Thief. It releases today. Saif Ali Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Nikita Dutta and Kunal Kapoor are headlining the film. Mahaveer Jain Pictures recently announced Naagzilla. Kartik Aaryan plays a shape-shifting snake (Icchadhari Naag) in the fantasy comedy helmed by Mrighdeep Lamba and co-produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The film is scheduled to release on August 14, 2026, alongside Bhediya 2.
