Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will face Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 16th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. LSG haven't started well, losing two out of the three games. The team lost the first game to Delhi Capitals before beating SRH in the second game. The team failed to continue the winning run and were thrashed by PBKS in the last game. For LSG, Nicholas Pooran and Mitchell Marsh have done well with the bat, but the form of other batters are a cause of concern. The injuries to key bowlers have dented their campaign, but the team would be delighted that ace pacer Akash Deep has regained fitness.

Meanwhile, MI too have looked off-colour. They started the campaign with back-to-back defeats to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Gujarat Titans (GT), however, the team showed signs of a return to form after beating Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). MI have struggled because of the poor form of key players, and they'd need all guns big guns firing to get on a winning spree.
